Pedometers are a tool that help you track how many steps you take in a day. We started using them in math. There really fun to use but, they have some rules to them.
#1- You can't bring them home.
#2-NO shaking them!!!!!! That's cheating and it can break quicker.
#3-You abuse them you lose them for the entire day.
#4- You must take your own number. Each pedometer will have a number on them.
Mrs Hall will assign you a number and that is the pedometer you take but not keep. At the end of the day you log in how many steps you took in the calendar in your planner. And eventually you will convert them into feet, yards, and miles.
Mrs. Hall wrote a grant and people donated money to this project. Not only are we going to use them for math but we are getting exercise!
Mrs. Hall loves this "Brain Break". We love getting up and moving!!!!
